 FEEDING STUDENTS, SUSTAINING SCHOOLS

All year we’ve been looking forward to gathering in community with you for our fourth-annual Harvest Dinner. Given the reality of COVID and the fact that our mission is WELLNESS, sadly this fall we will all have to dine in (and stay well!) In lieu of the Harvest Dinner, we have created an online fundraiser: Feeding Kids; Sustaining Schools. If you had planned to purchase an event ticket, bid on a delicious dessert, or make an in-person gift, please consider making a donation today. As with every Harvest Dinner, all donations are investments in supporting student well-being through healthy school meals, local ingredient sourcing, and school garden programs.

We celebrate any level of support! All gifts make a difference, and all are tax deductible. Students and staff from local schools have designed some very fun thank you gifts—à la “public radio pledge drive”—for every donation level.

Thanks for working together with us to cultivate the health, resiliency and well-being of students and families in Jefferson County!

Our thank you gifts show our debt of gratitude, however they are not required!

Are you missing the annual Harvest Dinner dose of inspiration and heartwarming stories of progress? Grab a cup of tea and listen to the difference your dollars make for local kids.

School Gardens Grow More Than Vegetables <3

Smooth, fuzzy, sweet, aromatic; school gardens can be a place to see, feel, smell, and taste wonderful things!

School gardens connect students to each other, the food they eat, and the land that sustains us.

School gardens are great places to learn core academics, including math, science, social studies, and language arts.

When you make a gift to our Fall Campaign, you build farm to school program capacity, garden and kitchen infrastructure, and a healthier world for kids!
